January's Clear Your Shelf Giveaway Hop

Well it is finally time for the Clear Your Shelf Giveaway Hop hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer:
I am giving away multiple book sets, you can enter just one if you want to or you can enter all of them, but you can only enter each one of them once. These are used books from my own shelves so please know that even though this books are still in great reading condition they are still used. The sets come together you cannot pick and choose which books you want. Use the linky tool beneath each book set list to enter for that book set. I do ship internationally and of course domestically so no matter where you are you can still enter, but please remember that I cannot guarantee when items shipped internationally will arrive. I will post who the winner for each book set is and I will also email the winner so make sure you keep an eye on your email.

  13. I was very eager to read Life of Pi but did not really liked it. I guess, I'm just not used with the way the author wrote the novel. I was really confused with the way he wrote it. But I am not saying this is the worst, I still learned a few lessons from this novel. :))

  14. I guess, what I like about reading is that while I am actually reading the book, I am taken away to certain places I've never been and I can even see myself as one of the characters. I involve myself. They laugh, I laugh. They cry, I cry. That, I must say, is the best experience only a book can give. :))

  23. The worst book I read was Darkest Heart by patricia pellicane. It was just plain bad. I later learned she usually writes really explicit romantic type books and I've never read any of those but this one was just the worst thing I've ever read. Usually I like everything I read and find good things about everything, but not this one. Just don't do it!

    My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Actually, all Austen's books.

    My favorite book when I was a child is all of Enid Blyton books. I loved all of her books.

    In literary, I always want to become Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, or Jane in Jane Eyre.

    My favorite thing about reading is that I can travel to anywhere and become anybody that I want.

  42. As a child, I loved the Harry Potter series. I still do, and they remain in my favorite books.

    I rarely leave books unfinished, so I have less than 10 books in my DNF books. One of them was Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog. Too bad, because I love dogs. But the writing style wasn't for me.

    I know a lot of readers who wants to be Elizabeth Bennet, and I do too, especially because I am the second of five daughters (no brothers!)

    Finally: reading takes me anywhere I want, any time period I want, puts me in anyone's shoes and makes me feel all those *feels*...in the comfort of my seat.

    Ummm the worst book I've read.. I tried to read the Vampire Diaries books because I love the tv series, but they were so boring I couldn't finish :(

    I like the world described in Harry Potter, so I'd like to be probably a character from that book.

    My favorite thing about reading is that it's like living millions of different lives! I like thinking and feeling with the characters.

    What I love about reading is that I can feel different emotions and meet different characters that I like and sometimes hate. It takes me to a world where I can be myself and enjoy being alone.

  98. I loved the Harry Potter series as a child. I still do love them :D

    I don't leave books unfinished. I just put them 'on hold'. Although my sister always pointed out that there's no difference since I always left them on the shelves and only read them when I'm in the mood of doing so. Anyway, so far the book that I've put 'on hold' is Sleepless by Charlie Huston because I had a hard time to understand the story, thanks to my mediocre vocabulary :P Oh, also Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, because the story is very boring half way and veryyyyyy draggy, so on to the shelf it goes! ;P

    I want to be Katniss so that I can be with Peeta! Haha, dream on, Farhana, dream on!

    I like reading because it lets me travel to another world without actually leaving my world! :D

  168. My favourite book series as a child was definitely the Max Remy series by Deborah Abela. I LOVED it, because Max was awesome and so relateable, being slightly uncoordinated, sometimes antisocial, but still really fiesty.

  170. And I love reading because it's just so amazing, the idea that other people can create these stories that are so phenomenal and affect others so dramatically. Plus I love the escape and it's nice in that you're still kinda learning (ie vocab)
